Product Specialists: Create products that the world needs

The great job of a Product Specialist is to ensure that the products your company manufactures are of the highest quality and meet the needs of your customers. To do this, they work with the engineers who design the products, as well as the sales and marketing teams who determine how the products will be used and what features they should have. Product Specialists also work with customers to get feedback on the products and make sure they are happy with them. Their goal is to always produce the best possible product for customers while keeping them informed about updates and new versions. Product Specialists are the link between the customers and the company. They play an important role in ensuring that the products manufactured by their company are of the highest quality. They work tirelessly to ensure that the products their customers receive are undoubtedly what they need and that they are always kept up to date with their company's latest developments. Product Specialists are an indispensable part of any company that manufactures products, and their input to Product Managers is vital to the success of the business.

Foxio Consulting specializes in the placement of digital experts and teams. We guarantee complete market coverage and the fastest possible placement of specialists through our proprietary multi-channel search. Our network of more than 600,000 active contacts guarantees our promise.

What is the role of a Product Specialist?

Product Specialists are responsible for monitoring the quality and stability of a company's products. They work with other departments to ensure that the product meets all requirements and they are in contact with customers to provide feedback on the product. They usually work with product managers and engineers to solve the most important problems that customers have with the product. In their role, Product Specialists shield the development team from customers and find out what is a real problem and what is customer misbehavior. They also develop and maintain product documentation and train staff in the use of the product. They may also be responsible for managing product releases and coordinating customer support. Essentially, they do these 3 things:

  • Identify key customer issues with a product.
  • Develop solutions to resolve these issues.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to Product Managers for implementation and prioritization.

How is a Product Specialist different from a Product Manager?

A Product Specialist is a more technical position, responsible for understanding the product in detail and helping to continuously improve it. They work with engineers and other stakeholders to solve customers' main problems with the product, define requirements, track progress and resolve issues... and a lot of them! A product manager is responsible for the overall strategy and direction of a product. This includes working with stakeholders to define requirements, develop new features and make decisions on which features should be prioritized. You will also work with marketing and sales to ensure the product is positioned and marketed correctly.

Are you looking for Product Specialists to support your product team in this task? Foxio Consulting specializes in this area and will find top talent for your company. We find the right candidates and conduct the first interviews in less than 30 days.
